Current Situation

When the Aboriginal people go to hide from the foreignersthis is the house they run to.

The current situation in Aboriginal Australia is that the Aborigines people are trying to raise people’s taxes so they have a higher amount of money coming in annually. Today Roger Sandall says   “the Aborigines people are vocationally disabled, unpresentable outside the ethnographic zoos they live in (Marshall).” When people from other areas of the country come to communicate with the Aborigines they all escape into their enclosed huts where the foreigners can not bother them or question them. They are known for being extremely shy and aggressive. The positive side of this current situation is marriages between adult Aborigines and non-Aborigines increased by twenty percent since 1986. The leaders of this small tribe are mostly from other regions, like Ireland or Europe (Marshall). The killing has significantly decreased but now the main problem is how far behind the Aboriginal people are from the rest of the world. The Australian government has recently gotten involved. They are trying to slowly rebuild many lost generations.
